M Studio Beauty Salon – Terms & Conditions
1. Right of Withdrawal / Cooling-Off Period
Products: You have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for products purchased from M Studio Beauty Salon. This period begins on the day you receive the product. Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging. The costs of returning the product are your responsibility.Treatments: Due to the personal and medical nature of cosmetic treatments, the right of withdrawal does not apply once a treatment has been performed.
2. Liability & No Guarantees
M Studio Beauty Salon performs all treatments according to professional standards and strives to achieve the best possible results. Outcomes may vary depending on your health, skin condition, medical history, medications, and individual response. No absolute guarantees can be given for treatment outcomes. You are responsible for providing full and accurate health information prior to the treatment. M Studio Beauty Salon maintains appropriate professional liability insurance.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices include VAT and are clearly listed for each treatment and product. Payment for treatments is required before the appointment, unless otherwise agreed. Payment for products is due at the time of purchase. For certain treatments or orders, M Studio Beauty Salon may request full or partial advance payment. Prices may be adjusted in line with inflation or changes in costs, with prior notice. Any additional treatments or products beyond the agreed plan will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Free cancellation: Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.
Late cancellation / No-show: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment, or missed appointments, will be charged 30% of the treatment fee (minimum €25). Payment must be made before the next appointment.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation fees.
Salon rescheduling: M Studio Beauty Salon may reschedule appointments if necessary, providing at least 24 hours’ notice.
5. Teen Clients (Ages 12–18)
For the Teen Facial treatment, clients aged 12–18 must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Consent can be submitted in person at the salon before the treatment begins.
6. Health Disclosure & Client Responsibilities
You must provide complete and accurate information about your health, medications, allergies, and any relevant conditions. You must follow all pre- and post-treatment instructions provided by M Studio Beauty Salon. Notify us of any changes in your health, medications, or circumstances that may affect your treatment. Some treatments may require a doctor’s note to confirm safety. M Studio Beauty Salon is not liable for complications caused by incomplete or inaccurate information or failure to follow instructions.
7. Right to Refuse Service
M Studio Beauty Salon reserves the right to refuse or postpone any treatment if it is deemed unsafe, medically inadvisable, or otherwise inappropriate.
8. Product Use Disclaimer
M Studio Beauty Salon is not responsible for any adverse reactions, misuse, or damage resulting from the use of products after they leave the salon. Clients are responsible for following usage instructions.
9. Personal Belongings
M Studio Beauty Salon is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought into the salon.
10. Force Majeure & Liability Limitation
M Studio Beauty Salon is not liable for delays or inability to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including staff illness, technical failures, government measures, natural disasters, or supplier issues. Liability is limited to professional negligence. Indirect or consequential damages are excluded.
11. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with a treatment or product, please submit your complaint within 7 days to info@mstudiobeauty.nl with the subject line “Complaint.” We will respond within 7 calendar days. We aim to resolve complaints amicably.
12. Privacy & GDPR
By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, process, and protect your personal data in accordance with GDPR.
13. Governing Law
All agreements with M Studio Beauty Salon are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in The Hague, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. M Studio Beauty Salon reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions. Clients will be notified of changes.
